Astrophotography Workshops

Learn the art of Astrophotography in 2026 with our small-group, practical photography workshops.

If you have ever been curious about night sky photography, our hands on group Astrophotography workshops will equip you with all the knowledge and skills you'll need to capture stunning images of the Milky Way,with the gear you already own!

Catering to all skill levels with a focus on beginners, our photography workshops are small group sessions (max. 10 participants), which allows us to tailor our teaching and advice to the skill level of the individual and provide hands on, practical advice.

The workshops are a fun, relaxed and informal environment to learn and practice photography in the real world, with real world examples, with groups of like-minded creatives.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! We offer direct transport to and from the event (on request). If transport is required, ensure you select this when booking. Exact pick-up locations will be confirmed 7 days prior to the event.

    • In the event that it is partly cloudy, the workshop will continue as planned. This may involve a short wait for clouds to pass through - the event end times are approximate and are subject to change depending on the weather on the night.

    • In the event that heavy clouds are forecast, there will be communication prior to the event regarding a change in location - usually nearby, within reason. In the event that heavy clouds move across part-way through the workshop, we may agree to a change in location mid-session.

    • In the unlikely event of predicted severe weather, predicted heavy rain or predicted widespread, or heavy cloud coverage (where nearby locations are also likely to be impacted), the workshop will continue as an online Astrophotography Masterclass, where you will still be able to learn the same applicable skills, techniques and theory. Attendees will have the option to attend a future session at a discounted rate. Any weather-related arrangement will be communicated with attendees at least 7 days prior to the event. No refunds will be given for weather less than 7 days prior to the session.
